Adventures in Japanese Games: Panel de Pon: Dragon Vs. Flare
In yet another exciting but probably pointless installment of my Adventures in Japanese Games series, Panel de Pon branch-off, the dragon hungers for a new meal, and he has set his sights on the faerie of fire! Who will triumph? You’lll have to see for yourself! Surprising ending? Possibly not. But it does pose a question I intend seriously! And yes, that is a new intro at the start – regardless of everyone’s answers to the question, I will still use it for any other stray Panel de Pon …

11 months later, Nintendo DS game “Henry Hatsworth” uses it on the bottom screen as the “Puzzle World”. You switch between the two during gameplay (Kinda hard to explain, easier to watch a video for it)

It is indeed awesome. Heh, it’s definitely one of those songs that gets my blood pumping and fires me up for battle. Definitely good for listening to, playing some hard game.

And it should – the basic concept was taken from this game. All P:PL did was take this game, change all the characters to ones from the Pokémon anime, and N64-ify it. More or less, anyway.
