Between American made and Japanese made games, which do you prefer?

American made games like Gears of War, God of War, Halo, etc. have amazing graphics, gameplay, storylines etc. Japanese games like Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, etc. are also the same of amazing, but I would like to know, what you think, which do you prefer? the rugged tough and detailed look of American games? or the beautiful and pretty datailed look of Japanese games?

I would say american games. cuz sims is an american game!
but then again japanese made the wii! and mario!

japanese cause they seem to be way more high tech than usa right now (no offense USA game designers). many of the game stations were made in japan anyways.

Learn Japanese Now
Well, depends on what system. Usually, the only good games on Nintendo systems are those made by Nintendo (Super Smash Bros. is my personal favorite Japanese game), which is Japanese. However, some of the better games on 360, PS3, PSP, and other systems are made by Americans (My opinion). So, Nintendo games are better Japanese, and Most other system’s are better American. Just an opinion.

All depends on the type of games your into , technology wise and story line wise deffinetly Japanese , for example MGS series , best game series there is all from Japan
and for the American games well if you like War Games etc then these are the ones for you , i couldnt imagine a Japanese company such as Kojima making Call Of Duty , but then i couldnt imagine EA making MGS
Japan And America both make very good games so im going to say it’s a 50/50 for me
