And so you know my little brother does have a Japanese ps2 and a ps1.

Tzadeck asked: So, I’m thinking about buying a Japanese PS2, since I can speak Japanese pretty well and I live in Japan. Are there any noteworthy games that have been released in Japan but not elsewhere? Just looking for interesting things to buy.
Also, anyone have any recommendations for the myriad of Evangelion games? Are any of them good?

Viewtiful Bro asked: I want to import some Japanese PS2 games, but I recently read that you can’t play them on an American PS3. So I was wondering should I buy a Japanese PS2 or an American PS2?
If I buy a Japanese PS2 do I have to buy a different set of cables for it and will it be okay?
Or if I buy an American PS2 then what do I have to do to it to make it play Japanese PS2 games?

C.J. asked: I recently looked on ebay to find a copy of ‘Kingdom Hearts Final Mix’ and most of the results came with this note: Please be reminded that this game will only work on a PlayStation 2 that plays JAPANESE games.
I wanted to check to see if my ps2 supports Japanese games, but i don’t know how to check. A little help, please?

Mr. Schnoz asked: Seriously! If you only knew Japanese you would have to learn to speak English to play video games. They even do it on the newest games and the oldest games! Why?
Some games are completely in English yet were only released in Japan.
