Criminal Girls PSPNIS and Image Epoch, creators of Arc Rise Fantasia and Luminous Arc are working on a new RPG together. An RPG that’s full of fan service and guaranteed to appeal to a niche segment of society. It’s called Criminal Girls and it’s a PSP RPG that deals with going through dungeon trials and punishment of scantily clad, sinful girls.

In Criminal Girls, the player’s character is a sort of warden/guard who’s responsible for seven girls who’ve been sent to hell because they were naughty. You must take them on a journey of reform and exploration so they’ll be suitable for a second chance at life. This means battling, being strict with them and punishing them. One punishment, for example, is spanking and takes players to a pixelated screen where they spank the girl. Yup, it’s going to be that kind of game.

If you need more details, you’ll have to wait a few days. While NIS has created a Criminal Girls webpage, it won’t be officially opened until August 10, 2010. The game itself comes out November 18, 2010 and will cost ¥6,090 ($70). If you want it, plan on importing. I get the feeling that this is one of those games that will never, ever be seen outside of Japan in English. Ever. If NIS won’t bring the good and family-friendly Marl Kingdom games to North America, then Criminal Girls doesn’t stand a chance.
