Are you an eco-conscious diner? Do you enjoy using utensils that not only reusable look cool and come from Japan? Then you’ll be super stoked about Kotobukiya’s July 2010 release of three samurai sword-style chopsticks.

Imported from Japan, each set will sell for $9.99 when available (likely through the Kotobukiya web site and select stores) and are are based on swords used by three feudal Japanese samurai warriors: Maeda Keiji, Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura.

The Maeda Keiji chopsticks have a black (or very dark brown) stick with a hilt featuring gold metal edging and leather style weave around the grip. The Date Masamune variation is black with shiny gold weave on the “handle.” The Sanada Yukimura chopsticks are perhaps the kick-ass-iest of the three with black sticks, black handles and gold accents on the handles and hilts.

Kotobukiya also sells a Star Wars lightsaber chopstick set that was promoted at the San Diego Comic Con 2009. Those also includes nice Star War logo chopstick holders so let’s hope they do something similar for this set as well.

Maybe now it’ll be OK to stab at your food.
