Prinny 2: Dawn of the Great Pantsu War Makai Daikon Demon Radish DLCPrinny 2: Dawn of the Great Pantsu War, the sequel to the pretty popular PSP side-scroller Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?, debuted in Japan on March 25, 2010. Now, thanks to NIS, there’s DLC available. But it isn’t just any DLC – it’s ¥10 (10¢) DLC. Yes, if you literally have some spare change, you can pick up an incredibly affordable new weapon for the Prinny or Prinny Asagi to use.

The weapon is the Makai Daikon Rensha Yousei-san Tsuki. (That’s Demon Radish Turbo Fire Fairy.) When either the Prinny or Prinny Asagi equip the Makai Daikon, they begin fighting off enemies with a giant, turbo firing radish instead of their normal weapons. The Prinny will use it for the entire level, but Asagi will ditch the Makai Daikon if she finds another weapon. There’s no word on if Prinny Laharl can also use the Makai Daikon.

It’s great to hear about companies who want to give players reasonably priced DLC, especially after some companies decided to charge consumers $15 for maps and $25 for a pet.

There’s no word yet on a North American release of Prinny 2: Dawn of the Great Pantsu War. NIS America did release the first game, Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? here though, and Koei picked it up for Europe. Perhaps, sometime in the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011, PSP owners around the world will be helping Prinny and Prinny Asagi recover Etna’s underwear while wielding giant radishes.
