UK SNES carts are the same as the japanese ones in this video so u will need to mod ur console to play the game, or get a PAL snes from ebay for $10

I want to mod my NTSC super nintendo so I can play a European PAL version of terranigma. Does anyone know if the UK terranigma cartridge is one of those weird PAL carts that can work in a US snes without doing the mod?

Maybe you bought it second hand and the mod was already done.

it wasn’t bad. i used needle nose pliers to wiggle those pieces off. then i used a ginsu knife to whittle more of the plastic away. it might’ve been easier with a tri-wing, but i didn’t want to wait for one to come in the mail. it looks sloppy in there but it works enough. Assault Suits Valken is fuckin’ razz!

The way imports are made to be played – Rocket Japanese!
the ones in the Game Genie. you can take the game genie apart with a normal phillips head screwdriver to access the tabs easier

It is amazing that it evolved”

so which taps should I remove? the game genies or my snes system?
June 29th, 2009 at 6:21 PM
Lmfao sorry for my odd sense of humour. That was a joke, and I didn’t think that it would warrant such a response. Thanks for the advice though! I actually own a Super Caesar converter.

You could, but I strongly recommend against it. Obviously, it lowers the value of your games, but physically, the Super Famicom carts don’t look good with grooves chopped into the plastic like that. I purchased a few SFC games that had been altered that way. I hated seeing that. The best thing to do is remove those tabs, or buy a converter, if you want to.
