Capcom’s ready for the 2010 Tokyo Game Show! It is building excitement by showing off its booth layout, revealing playable games, teasing guest appearances by game developers and showing off game related items it’ll be selling at the show. There’ll even be a new Marvel vs. Capcom 3 character announcement.

Capcom’s only confirmed six of the games that it will have on display at TGS 2010. There will most likely be more, but the company is trying to build suspense and will announce them as September 16, 2010, the day the show begins, draws nearer. If you look at the company’s TGS 2010 website, you can see there’s probably room for about three or four more games under the Game Titles section.

Here are the six games attendees will be to see and play:

  • Dead Rising 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (PS3, Xbox 360)
  • MonHun Nikki: Poka Poka Airu (Ailu) Mura (Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airu Village) (PSP)
  • Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (PSP)
  • Okamiden (DS)
  • Sengoku Basara 3 (Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes) (PS3, Wii)

And yes, Capcom’s hopped on the TGS website bandwagon. It’s actually really nice, and on par with Square Enix’s TGS 2010 site. Each game that’s appearing at the show has its own page, with screenshots, images of things you could buy and general information. There’s also an updated news section, general show information and you can read the latest Capcom TGS 2010 twitter updates on the main page. It’s all in Japanese though, but at least there are lots of pretty pictures! I want a Monster Hunter Portable 3rd daruma and a Sengoku Basara 3 omamori (good luck charm)!
